Postcard from New Albany…. “nawalbny”

Greetings from Indiana!

Had a great day on the bus, no problems, no lost directions, no lost children! We had a lunch stop at a rest area in Farmland, Illinois – no kidding – and from what I could see, there wasn’t much around except the rest stop and farmland…..appropriately named, eh?

Arrived at the First Church of God where the kids warmed up, small rehearsal, and were treated to a great pizza supper hosted by Molly Farry-Thorn’s grandpa and family. What a treat! Concert attended by over 50 folks and an extremely appreciative crowd! Maybe they also appreciated the air conditioned sanctuary (I know WE all did!) too. It’s about 90 hot, humid degrees here. We were definitely not conditioned to this quite yet!

Everyone whisked off to their homestay hosts and looking forward to our new friends here.
